U.S. Cities

Atlanta. Atlanta is the largest city and capital of Georgia, with over 6 Million living in the metropolitan area. One of its claims to fame is that it was the location of the 1996 Summer Olympics. It is also becoming known as the "Hollywood of the South", as many movies are being produced in studios just south of the city.

Austin. Austin is the capital of Texas and home to the famous University of Texas. It has some amazing parks and an energetic music scene and night life. It is close to both San Antonio and Houston.

Bentonville. Bentonville is located in the rapidly developing region of Northwest Arkansas. It is home to some great attractions, including Crystal Bridges Art Museum. It is also the location of the original Walton Five and Dime, and now the Walmart Corporate Home Office.

Boston. Boston was one of the first large cities to be settled in the United States. Its historical importance to the foundation of the United States is nearly unparalleled. The Boston Tea Party, the Salem Witch Trials, the Mayflower Landing and the Shot Heard 'Round the World are just a few major events that took place near the city.

Chicago. Chicago is the railroad hub of the United States. Its central, midwestern location makes it the perfect city for goods and passengers to pass from coast to coast. Chicago is known as "The Windy City", and is famous for its Deep Dish Pizza, the Willis Tower, the Navy Pier and its sports teams.

Houston. Houston is well known for its importance in the United States oil industry. Its location near the Gulf of Mexico makes it an ideal location for refineries there to refine oil drilled from the Gulf. A underground complex of shops lies underneath downtown Houston, and the Houston Galleria west of the downtown area is a must-see as well.

Kansas City. Kansas City has historically been a critical point in accessing the American West. Several important western trails passed through or near the city, including the Sante Fe and Oregon Trails. Today, a number of well known corporations headquarters are located here, such as Hallmark and Russell Stover Chocolates. There are some great attractions as well, including the Crown Center, Union Station and the Power and Light District.

Los Angeles. The Los Angeles metropolitan area has over 13 Million people. It is, however, a much more spread out city than its east coast sibling New York. There are so many great attractions around Los Angeles including but not at all limited to Disneyland, the Chinese Theater, the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach.

Milwaukee. Milwaukee is located in southeast Wisconsin directly on Lake Michigan. A large number of Germans immigrated to the area in the mid 1800's, giving rise to many of the beer breweries the city and state have become famous for. You can find a plethora of things to do here, including the Milwaukee Public Museum, The Domes and The Southshore Park.

New Orleans. New Orleans may be the most culturally unique city in the United States and one of the most unique in the world. It is a blending of cultural influences, as both French and Spanish had control over the city in its early years. Over the past twenty years, the city has seen its share of adversity, but each time it has risen above it. Millions of visitors travel to the city each year to see the Mardi Gras parades, Bourbon Street and its incredible cajun culture.

New York City. New York City is often referred to as "The Big Apple" or "The City that Never Sleeps". It is an incredible city filled with shows, sites, restaurants and more. It is home to over 8 Million people and famous attractions such as Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building.

Orlando. Orlando is located in Central Florida. It is famously home to several incredible theme parks, namely Disney World, Universal Resort and Sea World. Over 2.5 Million people live in the Orlando Metro Area, and that number is only getting larger as the city, and the theme parks located there, continue to add more attractions, amenities and hotels.

San Francisco. San Francisco's growth first exploded in 1849 when the Gold Rush saw many gold hunters arrive in the area. Nowadays, the city is the technological capital of the world, where corporations such as Facebook and Google are located. San Francisco is famous for its trolleys, sourdough bread, sports and the Golden Gate Bridge.

St. Louis. St. Louis is located near the central part of the United States next to the Mississippi River. It is home to the famous St. Louis Arch Monument, and is commonly referred to as the "Gateway to the West". The City Museum and the Riverboat Cruises are just a few of the many fun things to do here.

Tulsa. Tulsa is a city found in Northeast Oklahoma. Much of the city was built around the booming oil industry in the early 1900's, and it was once known as "The Oil Capital of the World." Today, the city has reinvented itself, and wonderful destinations such as the Gathering Place, the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and the Oklahoma State Fair can be found here.

Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States. It is a separate district apart from any of the 50 states, but is geographically located between Virginia and Maryland. There are many attractions in Washington, D.C., including the Lincoln Monument and the Smithsonian Museums.
